When she landed in the nation’s capital to attend Howard University, her style seemed in contrast with the buzz of Washington, DC. It was clear she was not in Kansas anymore! But her formal years at Howard proved otherwise. It was there, that she began to use her Cali Girl relaxed approach to cultivate her signature style for event planning, the “Quiet Storm”.
